Hi Everyone!
In 1665, during an epidemic, Cambridge University closed its doors, forcing Issac Newton to work from home. While home he discovered his law of gravity.
What will You discover during this time?
I hope you are all well and adjusting to our remote learning situation. By now you should have received an email with an "instruction and extra help schedule".
Art instruction is scheduled for:
Monday 9:45 - 10:30
Wednesday 11:15 - 12:00
I will post new work at those times, and will be at my computer answering any questions you have through private messages in google classroom during that time. I will also continue to post the assignments on my webpage, mrgiordano.weebly.com .
Extra help is scheduled for Friday from 11:15 - 12:00.
I will be at my computer answering questions through private messages in classroom at that time. Of course, if you have questions any other time you can private message me in our classroom like you have been doing, and I will answer as soon as I check your class messages. You can also ask your classmates questions by posting in the class stream, just remember that everyone can see what you write there.
Attendance:
I will take "attendance" every Friday. That means that each Friday I will mark you "present" if you have turned in classwork on google classroom. If you have not submitted any work I will mark you "absent".
Homework:
This week we are turning in the best 3 of our homework drawings for the 3rd marking period.
If you left your sketchbook at school, I understand. If you have done a few on unlined paper you can submit those. If not, don't worry about it, and I will see them when we get back to school. I will not take points off if you do not have your sketchbook.
7th grade Art students should continue with the homework list on my webpage, mrgiordano.weebly.com .
8th grade Art students will be getting the 4th marking period homework assignment next week.
Until we are back in school; put down the video game controller, go for a walk (take the dog), take a bike ride, draw or paint for fun, wash your hands and stay at least 6 feet away from others so you can stay safe and healthy so I can see you soon!
